Bamidele Salam, the honourable member representing Ede North, Ede South , Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency at the House of Representative who marks his birthday today 1st October, 2024. Honourable Bamidele Salam who was born on 1st October, 1969, was Chairman of Egbedore local government between 2008 and 2010, he was appointed Head of Media in the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President between 2012 and 2015. He was also voted for to represent Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Abuja in 9th and 10th Nigeria National Assembly. Marking his birthday, hon. Bamidele Salam organised free medical outreach at Awo town in Egbedore local government where both aged and young received free treatment for whatever ailment they have. By Oduduwa Media  Dr. Awofadeju Peter Olayinka, an indigene of Ilesa, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State extends his heartfelt condolences to the entire Ijesa land and the family of the late Owa Obokun, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, who joined his ancestors on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.  According to sources, the monarch was admitted to Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State, until his passing on Wednesday 11th September, 2024. He was 87 years old and reigned for 42 years. Oba Aromolaran was a trailblazer, being the first Ijesa monarch to hold a PhD in Economics. He authored his first publication, 'Economics for West Africa,' in 1966. His passing leaves a void in Ijesa land, and he will be deeply missed for his good deeds.
